Welcome!  Be sure and check out our Device Assistant to help you with device comparison.  Also, we can assist you AAC Evals with our toolkit and workshops.

The Allora is a stylish new augmentative communication device for literate users!   Any message typed on the display is spoken clearly in a high quality natural sounding male or female voice (Acapela speech synthesis). You can also use digitized sounds to play messages, songs, attract attention or animate a conversation. The Allora has a splashproof keyboard with normal sized keys. The LCD display consists of 2 lines of 40 characters. While a message is written on the first line of the display, the second line displays a predicted list of words (both word completion and next word predictions). Switch scanning via one switch is also possible (switch not included). Scan speed, switch acceptance time and post-selection delay can be adjusted.
